Cocoa Defeats Viera 17-7 In Weather-Shortened Game

The latest chapter in the short Cocoa-Viera history seems unfinished.
Lightning halted the game in the second half and ultimately cut the game short. The matchup was called shortly after 10pm with Cocoa going home with a 17-7 victory over one of the other top teams in Brevard County.
The Tigers, ranked 9th in the state, received rushing touchdowns from Javian Hawkins and Timmy Pratt .
Brennan DePlanke scored the lone touchdown for Viera.
3 & 1 Cocoa has its second bye week of the season.
3 & 2 Viera hosts Melbourne in Week 6.
