Oviedo Edges Lyman 31-29

Lions' Second Game In 3 Days

October 28, 2016 – No rest?

No problem.

Playing their second football game in three days, the Oviedo Lions had just enough left in the tank to will a 31-29 win at Lyman.

Both teams came in at 2 & 6 but neither had any quit in them.

Oviedo, which had played University Orange City on Tuesday, struck the first blow in the game with a Morgan Mitchell touchdown pass.

Lyman quickly answered.

The back-and-forth continued until Oviedo built a 2-score lead in the fourth quarter that Lyman could not quite overcome.

Oviedo wraps up the regular season at home against Lake Howell.

Lyman takes on Oak Ridge next.
