South Sumter Raids Mt. Dora 42-0

Raiders Led 28-0 At Halftime

October 28, 2016 – There's a reason why a high school football team in Bushnell is 8 & 1.

The South Sumter Raiders are very good, offensively and defensively.

The Raiders stormed into Mount Dora, building a 28-0 halftime lead against the Hurricanes, and never looked back en route to a 42-0 shutout victory.

A Deric Dixon touchdown catch in the third quarter ignited the South Sumter sideline.

The Raiders are on to the playoffs.

Mount Dora, which moved to 5 & 5 on the season, hosts Tavares in its regular season finale.
