Flagler mail thief turns himself in, deputies say

FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla. – A man captured on surveillance video taking mail from local mailboxes turned himself into authorities after seeing his picture on Facebook, Flagler deputies said.

The Flagler County Sheriff's Department said it responded to two incidents in the "P" section of Palm Coast after reports of mail being removed from residents' mailboxes. Deputies said in both cases the homeowners put outgoing mail into their mailbox and left their residence. Once they were gone, the mail was removed.
