News 6 offers chance to win ultimate Runaway Country fan experience

Festival now held in Osceola County

ORLANDO, Fla. – News 6 and Collis Roofing want you to have the ultimate Runaway Country fan experience.

Starting Monday, March 14 at 11p.m., News 6 will begin its Getting Results Grand Prize Ticket Contest.

On Wednesday, March 16 at 5:30 p.m., News 6 will randomly select the winner, which is not based on the donation amount. The winner will be announced later that day on News 6 at 11 p.m.

The winner will will receive a 2016 Runaway Country Grand Prize, consisting of:

  • Four 3-day reserved seating passes
  • Four Party Pit Passes for Thomas Rhett
  • Free VIP Parking for the weekend

This year, Runaway County, now in its sixth year, moved from Brevard County to Osceola County increasing the space for the festival.

This year’s stars are: Old Southern Moonshine Revival, Jamie Lynn Spears, Craig Way Boyd, Old Dominion and Jake Owen taking the stage for Friday, March 18. For Saturday, March 19, center stage will filled by Lockhart, Locash, Maddie & Tae, Thomas Rhett and, winding up the day, Kenny Chesney. The festival wraps up on Sunday, March 20, with Grayson Rogers, Jukebox Mafia, Neal McCoy and Chris Janson, and Eric Church closes the festival.

Runaway Country will feature another stage called My Apartment Stage with different acts not appearing on the main stage. On-site camping is also available but will fill up fast, so booking your space now is highly recommended. The festival will also feature vendors selling different products throughout the venue.

Saturday, March 19, will be News 6 day with on-air talent in the News 6 booth, so stop by and meet your favorite news anchor, meteorologist or reporter. Those scheduled to appear are: David Hall, Bridgett Ellison, Troy Bridges, Amy Biondello, Ginger Gadsden, Candace Campos, Julie Broughton, Tom Sorrells, Ping, Matt Austin, Lisa Bell and the News 6 investigators.
