Historic train leaving Central Florida

Lease for Orange Blossom Cannonball not renewed

LAKE COUNTY, Fla. – A longtime Central Florida attraction is set to chug away for the last time Tuesday.

The Orange Blossom Cannonball is leaving Lake County for good.

The steam engine has offered tourist-style rides for years between Tavares, Mount Dora and Sorrento.

The Orange Blossom Cannonball's lease with the Central Florida Railroad for the tracks was not renewed.

The final rides happened last weekend.
