'Breaking Bad' actor hosts childhood cancer charity event in Orlando

Meet R.J. Mitte at Be Brave Foundation event Saturday

Actor R.J. Mitte is in Orlando this weekend hosting a childhood cancer charity event.

ORLANDO, Fla. – The actor behind Flynn or Walter Jr., of "Breaking Bad" will host a childhood cancer fundraiser Saturday in Orlando.

R.J. Mitte will be the star of the Be Brave Foundation event at Beth's Burger Bar on Universal Dr. from 6:30 to 10 p.m.

"The mission of the Be Brave Foundation is to provide financial assistance to families in Central Florida with a child battling cancer," according to the nonprofit's website. "By removing some of the financial burden associated with treating pediatric cancer, we can assist the family in focusing on their child’s care and condition."

Tickets to "Breaking Cancer: An evening with R.J. Mitte" are on sale at bebravefoundation.org. Attendees can use the code Breaking50 to receive a 50 percent discount on tickets. General admission is $50, and VIP is $100.

According to the event website, the price of admission includes:

• Live music from Big Kettle Drum
• Food and beverages from Beth’s Burger Bar
• The chance to snap a selfie with Mitte
• Bidding on unique silent and live auction items
