A stranger who witnessed a heartbreaking moment unfold in front of her at the airport ended up saving the day with incredible generosity.
Posted to the Love What Matters Facebook page, a witness shared video and tells the story of a distraught father who learns that his young daughter must have a ticket to board a flight.
The father believed that his daughter would be able to fly for free as she turned 2 after he had purchased his ticket.
However, the man was told by the airline agent he would need to buy a $749 ticket for the girl if she wanted to fly.
The father became emotional, telling the agent he could not afford the extra ticket.
It was then that a woman nearby approached the man and then walked up to the airline counter and asked how much it would cost to pay for the ticket herself.
When told the price, the woman pulled out her credit card and bought the ticket for the man's daughter.
The witness on the Facebook post says the man hugged the woman, asking how he could repay her generosity.
The woman repeatedly told the father, "Don't worry about it."
"This woman needs to be commended. A gentleman was checking in for his flight when the agent asked how old his daughter...
