MANKATO, Min. – A Minnesota brewery created a new ale that combines a popular snack with a well-known drink.
Angie's Boomchickapop Belgian Style Farmhouse Popcorn Ale, created by Boomchickapop and Mankato Brewery, will hit store shelves this month.
Those behind the brew said the popcorn ale is kind of a classic.
They said farmhouse ale could be made with popcorn, but it hasn't been tried before.
