Florida teen accused of posing as doctor speaks out

Malachi Love-Robinson, 18, asks for privacy

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – A South Florida teenager arrested for practicing medicine without a license spoke out after being released from jail.

Officials said Malachi Love-Robinson had been operating a holistic medical office in West Palm Beach since last month. Police said the 18-year-old performed an exam on an undercover officer and gave medical advice.

Investigators said he told patients that he was a doctor of psychology. Love-Robinson, however, has never been to college.

"I am deeply saddened and a little disrespected by some of the things that have come forward," Love-Robinson said after being released from jail.

The teenager has been investigated at least two times in the past.

Police said Love-Robinson was caught walking around the halls of a hospital in a doctor's coat in January 2015.

The teen was cited last October for practicing medicine without a license at another clinic in Boynton Beach.
