CDC: Don't eat raw dough

Agency warns of potentially dangerous bacteria

WASHINGTON – The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is warning against the dangers of eating raw dough, as millions of Americans bake tasty treats this holiday season.

The federal agency says raw dough contains bacteria that doesn't get killed off until it's cooked.

Officials are also asking parents not to let their children eat raw dough.
