HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. – A Florida sheriff's deputy is being hailed a hero after saving a choking infant.
Hillsborough County Deputy Steve Donaldson was at the tax collector's office when a frantic mother rushed in looking for help.
That's when Donaldson said his training kicked in and he immediately began to perform CPR on the 15-month-old.
The now healthy baby boy and Donaldson took part in a heartwarming reunion over the weekend.
Donaldson said he was just happy to be able to help.
