Fiona the baby hippo explores mom's mouth

Preemie born in January at Cincinnati Zoo

Fiona the baby hippo was born prematurely in January -- and has since drawn a lot of attention as she's dreamed, swam and got acquainted with her parents in videos the Cincinnati Zoo posts online.

Her latest adventure? Exploring her mom's mouth.

Fiona's care team was "happy to see Bibi patiently allowing Fiona to mouth her tongue, tusks and even the back of her throat," the zoo said in its YouTube video.

The zoo continued, "Hippos use their mouths to act tough, play, show affection and explore the world around them (we think Bibi likes the mouth massage!)"

Fiona and the mama hippo reached a huge milestone this week, as they started spending time together in the same stall.
