No winning ticket for Saturday's Powerball, jackpot now $1.3 billion

Next drawing will be Wednesday night

ORLANDO, Fla. – The jackpot kept growing, and after last night's record $949.8 million jackpot drawing, no winning ticket was sold. 

That means, the current jackpot is now estimated at $1.3 billion for Wednesday's drawing.

Powerball numbers for Saturday, January 9:  32 - 16 - 19 - 57 - 34    PB 13

Powerball announced on Saturday that the jackpot reached $949.8 million. 

“The excitement is growing tremendously statewide and across the nation for this historic jackpot on Saturday night,” said Florida Lottery Secretary Tom Delacenserie. “This Powerball jackpot is not only a life-changing opportunity for any person, but also it has allowed the Lottery to generate over $40 million in revenue for Florida students and schools.” 

Last night's drawing was the biggest in U.S. history, topping a March 2012 jackpot of $656 million.

Nobody has matched all six numbers in one of the bi-weekly Powerball drawings since Nov. 7, 2015. 

Powerball is sold in 44 states, Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
