Gas prices to drop 5-10 cents per gallon this week, AAA says

Pump prices in Florida drop 3 cents over last 4 days

ORLANDO, Fla. – There is some good news at the gas pump just in time for the Thanksgiving holiday.

According to a new report released by AAA, gas prices are expected to drop 5-10 cents per gallon through the holiday weekend. Experts say it is due to an increase in crude and gasoline inventories.

Currently, the average for a regular gallon of gas in Florida is $2.49 per gallon, a 3-cent drop from last week.

AAA puts the national average for regular gas at $2.54 per gallon.

While experts say drivers will see the most expensive gas prices for the holiday since 2014, the downward trend is expected to continue.
