2 guns stolen in Winter Park pawn shop burglary, police say

Cops: Burglars fled scene in Dodge pick-up truck

WINTER PARK, Fla. – Two guns were stolen during a pawn shop burglary early Friday morning, according to the Winter Park Police Department.

Police said three people broke into Mike's Pawn Shop on West Fairbanks Avenue around 5:45 a.m.

The burglars entered the business by breaking into the back door, police said. They were then able to gain entry to a gun safe.

One shotgun and one handgun, along with a few other miscellaneous items, were stolen from the business, Winter Park police said.

Police said the burglars fled the scene in a Dodge Ram pick-up truck. No other details were available.
