3 people shot in Cocoa home invasion, police say

COCOA, Fla. – Detectives are investigating a home invasion where two men were shot and wounded early Saturday.

The shooting was reported at 2:20 a.m. at an apartment in the 600 block of Hughlett Avenue. Two masked intruders entered the home and fired.  A neighbor who tried to intervene was also shot as the suspects fled, News 6 partner Florida Today reported.

One of the men who was shot inside the apartment was in critical condition Saturday, police said.
