Total of 4 shootings, 1 stabbing in Pine Hills area Saturday, officials say

Violent crime is on the rise in Pine Hills.

ORLANDO, Fla. – Two more shootings occurred in the Pine Hills area Saturday night, bringing the total number of shootings that day to four, along with one stabbing, according to officials.

Deputies said they responded to the third shooting at 5675 Breckenridge Circle around 9:30 p.m.

A 26-year-old man was injured and transported to a nearby hospital by a family member, according to the incident report. He was said to be in critical condition.

Deputies do not yet have a suspect and no other details were given.

Orlando police and Orange County deputies responded to the fourth shooting in the area of Tam Drive and Donovan Street in reference to several shots fired around 10 p.m., according to the report.

Officials later said they found that a home on Donovan Street had been shot at several times by an unknown person.

One victim was transported by friends to Health Central and was treated for a non-life-threatening gunshot wound, according to police.

No other details were available.
