Orlando police investigate report of car break-ins

ORLANDO, Fla. - Two teens were arrested but two remain on the run after they fled from Orlando police and crashed into a ditch, according to officials.

The incident occurred Tuesday morning in Baldwin Park just west of Semoran Boulevard in Orlando.

According to police, a resident called authorities after they spotted someone trying to break into vehicles.  When officers arrived, four teens jumped into a van and sped away, police said.

During a police pursuit, the van crashed into a ditch, and the teens ran away, officials said.  A boy and girl were arrested, but two got away.

Orlando police continue to investigate the possible connection of the teens to the attempted car burglaries.

No other details were immediately known.
