Local 6 news partner FloridaToday.com reports it's a project that if it's expanded in Brevard County, will employ 1,357 people while also creating more than 880 spinoff jobs in the economically struggling community.

The Titusville City Council is set to hear details of the proposal Tuesday and in two weeks, will be asked to approve more than $4 million in tax breaks over ten years to help lure the company to a site at Space Coast Regional Airport. In addition, Brevard County Commission is expected to consider $4.08 million in tax breaks for the project next week.

The aerospace company has not been publicly identified and is being referred to as "Project Speed" in county and city documents.
