Source: Dwight Howard could have played last 2 games
Magic center sat out contests due to back spasms
ORLANDO, Fla. – Back spasms have forced Dwight Howard to sit out the last two games for the Orlando Magic. But a source close to the team told Local 6 Sports Director David Pingalore that they believe Howard could have played in both contests.
The source told Pingalore Wednesday they believe the superstar would have played against the Denver Nuggets and Detroit Pistons if they were considered must-win games. Prior to those contests, Howard had missed only six games in his career.
The Magic have not said whether Howard will play Thursday night against the New York Knicks. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. at Amway Center.
