Suspects plead not guilty in Deputy Barbara Pill's death

Andria Kerchner, Brandon Bradley, didn't appear in court

BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. – The pair accused of killing a Brevard County sheriff's deputy have pleaded not guilty to charges against them, according to court records.

Local 6 news partner Florida Today reports Brandon Lee Bradley, 22, and Andria Michelle Kerchner, 19, are each accused of murder, robbery and other charges in the March 6 fatal shooting of Deputy Barbara Pill.

They were charged by a grand jury on Tuesday and initial appearances were scheduled for Wednesday. Bradley and Kerchner are being held in Seminole and Orange county jails, respectively, and their attorneys requested they not be brought to Brevard County for the hearings this afternoon.

Written pleas of not guilty were submitted on their behalf.
