LEESBURG, Fla. – The Christian Worship Center of Leesburg in Lake County will be giving away $20 worth of gasoline to the first 100 people Saturday morning.
The givewaway is being held at 9:30 a.m. at the Shell gas station at the corner of Main Street and County Road 468.
Pastor John Christian said the CWC understands that many Central Floridians are having financial difficulties in juggling the needs to buy household necessities and the gas it takes to get to work.
"This gas giveaway is just a way for us to say we understand and would like to do something to help," Christian said. "We will look for more opportunities to help those in need," he said.
