DeLAND, Fla. – Authorities in Volusia County are searching for a 26-year-old woman suspected in a home invasion in which her father was choked and bound with duct tape.
DeLand police on Friday said they're searching for Billie Jean Kirt in connection with a robbery that occurred Tuesday morning in DeLand.

Her boyfriend, Mark Thomas Kachoris, 26, of DeLand, was arrested Friday on charges of robbery, false imprisonment and resisting without violence.
Kirt's father was found bound by duct tape at a home in the 700 block of North Clara Avenue and his car was stolen, police said.
Kirt's father was taken to Florida Hospital DeLand and treated for his injuries. His vehicle has since been recovered, police said.
