Bus fire shuts down lanes of interstate

Passengers stranded, lanes of 95 shut down

ORMOND BEACH, Fla. – Florida Highway Patrol troopers had two lanes of Interstate 95 shut down in Ormond Beach because of a bus fire.

Troopers said two lanes of 95 north bound were closed while the investigation continued.

Several people were safely evacuated after the back of the bus caught on fire.

Volusia County firefighters were able to quickly extinguish the flames, but traffic was slow in the area.
