Thousands attend Easter service at Amway Center

Orlando's biggest Easter celebration

Orlando, FLA. – First Baptist Church of Orlando and The Hope Church hosted the biggest Easter celebration in Orlando.

The Easter service celebrated the resurrection of Jesus Christ, and more than 12,000 people filled the Amway Center in downtown Orlando for the mid-morning service.

The event was open to the public and no tickets were required.  Attendees are asked to bring a free pair of shoes to be distribute by First Baptist Orlando's Love Orlando Ministry to Orange County Public Schools for individuals and families in need.
The churches plan to distribute more than 2,000 pairs of shoes in our community as a way of demonstrating that "love is alive!"

"Love is Alive" was the message from Pastor David Uth of First Baptist Church of Orlando.
