Valencia College students to march for Trayvon Martin

Rally also to be held at Orlando college

ORLANDO, Fla. – Valencia College students will march and hold a rally for Trayvon Martin, the teen who was shot and killed by a neighborhood watchman in Sanford.
Members of Valencia College's African-American Cultural Society are hosting Monday's march on the school's west campus in Orlando off  South Kirkman Road.

Students say the march will begin around 1 p.m. and will be followed by a rally at the patio outside the Student Services Building at 2 p.m. Students and faculty members are scheduled to speak at the rally, as will Rep. Geraldine Thompson (D-Orlando).

Monday's march comes off the heels of another student march in which dozens of students traveled from Daytona Beach to Sanford over the weekend.
