Deputies said the gunman fled the scene with the store's register and cash.
While deputies and K-9's were searching for the robber, a Cocoa Police Officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the area of West Highland Drive and North Carolina Avenue, deputies said.

The officer saw loose cash in the glove compartment and also noticed a cash drawer lying on the back seat, deputies said.

The officer also saw the man, identified as Antwan Nash, attempt to conceal a gun and bandana in the vehicle, deputies said.

The victims identified Ramon as being the robber, deputies said.
The passenger, Erica Bryan, was also arrested and taken into custody for her role in assisting with the robbery.
Nash has a lengthy criminal history and was just released from the Florida State Prison system about a month.

Sheriff Jack Parker applauded the efforts of the Cocoa Police Department and stated, "This guy is not the exception, he is the norm. When we catch a person who committed a robbery or some other violent offense, chances are good they have been arrested for violent acts in the past. Nash should serve as one more example that dangerous felons, especially those who use guns, should be sentenced to the most severe prison sentences possible."
Both Nash and Bryan were arrested and taken to the Brevard County Jail.
