Man tells 911 dispatcher: 'I am your father'

Police say man called 911 system 8 times to complain about police

DeLAND, Fla. – A Volusia County man was arrested Sunday on allegations that he called 911 at least eight times to complain about police.

Police say David McGuirk, 41, called 911 at least eight times to tell the dispatcher police were bothering him. According to one of the calls, he said he was trying to "proclaim the love of Jesus" and asked "how that was going to get him arrested for abuse" of the 911 system.
