Months after the Local 6 investigation into illegal student drop-offs in front of Dr. Phillips High School, the station's investigative team will be back at it again.
Local 6's Mike Holfeld is hitting the streets throughout Central Florida starting this week to see if parents are dropping off their students at other schools in the middle of heavy traffic, such as Turkey Lake Road.

Local 6's three-week investigation in February led Orlando Police Chief Paul Rooney to start "Operation Jump Street," a crackdown on illegal student drop-offs in which traffic citations were issued to promote pedestrian safety. The program targeted Dr. Phillips, Jones, Boone, Edgewater and Lake Nona high schools.
