Authorities: Missing St. Cloud soldier may be in danger

Officials say Army Pfc. Kelli Bordeaux last seen Saturday in N.C.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – Authorities are searching for soldier from St. Cloud who they say has been missing in North Carolina since Saturday.

According to police, Army Pfc. Kelli Bordeaux, 23, was last seen leaving a Fayetteville, N.C., bar called "Froggy Bottoms" on Saturday at 1:20 a.m., not far from Fort Bragg, where Bordeaux is stationed.

Authorities believe she may be in danger, but have not said why.

"The anxiety is just ... I want to explode," said Bordeaux's brother, Matt Henson.  "You have to think about it in a realistic way.  Probably something bad happened."

Shortly before joining the military one year ago, the solider married Michael Bordeaux.  He had been living with his wife near Fort Bragg, according to her family, but returned to St. Cloud two weeks ago because of marital problems.

The soldier's family says the husband was in Florida when his wife vanished.  They do not believe he knows what happened to her.

Bordeaux's husband recently returned to North Carolina to help police search for his wife, according to the soldier's family.

Authorities say Bordeaux is about 5 feet tall and weighs 99 pounds.  She has blond hair and brown eyes. Investigators say she was last seen wearing a pink halter top and black shorts.

Anyone with information is urged to contact police at 910-433-1856.
