Orange County deputy crashes into ATV

4-wheeler fell into path of deputy's cruiser, authorities say

ORLANDO, Fla. – An Orange County deputy was injured Wednesday morning when his cruiser crashed into an all-terrain vehicle, according to authorities.

Officials with the Orange County Sheriff's Office told Local 6 that the ATV fell off a truck at the intersection of Boggy Creek Road and Wetherbee Road and into the path of the deputy's cruiser.

The deputy suffered minor injuries, mostly burns from the air bag.
The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating.
