SORRENTO, Fla. – Two people were shot in a Sorrento neighborhood early Thursday morning, prompting authorities to close neighborhood roads, Lake County deputies said.
The shooting victims were taken to a nearby hospital. Their conditions are not known.
Detectives are searching for clues and interviewing witnesses near the 30000 block of Palm Avenue in Sorrento.
Deputies described the victims and several witnesses as "uncooperative."
It's unclear what led to the shooting.
