Orange County Public Schools offers free meals through summer

ORANGE CO., Fla. – Orange County Public Schools wants to make sure children don't go hungry this summer, even when they aren't in class.

The United States Department of Agriculture has partnered with Orange County Public Schools to provide free meals to children during the summer.

The means will be served at several locations Monday through Friday at various times.

There are no income requirements or registration for the meals.

The school board says any child under the age of 18 will be allowed to eat.

Each year, the U.S. Department of Agriculture partners with local organizations to provide free meals to children when school is not in session.
