Driver critically hurt after car crashes off I-4 ramp

Roadway reopens in Orlando

ORLANDO, Fla. – An Interstate 4 offramp reopened in Orlando after a crash forced officials to close it overnight.

A car went off the ramp from I-4 eastbound to Orange Blossom Trail around 11:30 p.m. Thursday and struck a tree.

Orlando police said four people were inside the vehicle, and the driver was critically injured.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.

No other details were immediately known.
