OCOEE, Fla. – A driver possibly upset over his order at a McDonald's crashed into the Ocoee restaurant, injuring a woman who was sitting with her children, police said.
The crash happened about 12:10 a.m. Monday at 1620 E. Silver Star Road.
According to Ocoee police, a 29-year-old man suspected to be driving under the influence crashed his 2003 Ford F-150 into a wall of the McDonald's, causing significant damage.
Witnesses said the truck struck a bolted down seat, which hit a customer in the leg. She was treated at the scene, and Ocoee police said she will be OK.
Witnesses also said the driver had been circling the parking lot before the crash, apparently upset about his order or not receiving food at the restaurant.
No other details, including the driver's name, have been released.
