Customer beats McDonald's manager with baseball bat

Polise: Suspect was furious with poor customer service

LAKELAND, Fla. – Police in Lakeland say a man jumped the counter at a McDonald's and attacked a the store's manager with a baseball bat.

It happened Sunday around 10:30pm.

Lakeland police say the man was upset because he had been passed over in line two days in a row.

The man left after yelling at the manager but later returned with a bat and hit the manager twice, bruising his ribs, police said.

In restaurant surveillance video, you can hear the man shouting, "All I wanted was some (expletive) food."
Police have not made an arrest.
