LAKE COUNTY, Fla. – A man was killed in Central Florida when he hit a deer on his motorcycle.
Florida Highway Patrol troopers said it happened at 10:20 a.m. Saturday on State Road 19 in Lake County.

Troopers said Brush Pelish, of Miramar, hit a deer that had run into the road.
Another motorcycle, driven by Robert Gomez, then hit Pelish's motorcycle.
Both Pelish, 57, and the deer were killed.
Gomez, 58, of Hollywood, and his passenger, Lisa Gomez, 45, were injured.
Both were taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center. Robert Gomez's injuries were listed as minor; Lisa Gomez's injuries were listed as serious.
All three were wearing helmets at the time of the crash.
