KISSIMMEE, Fla. – A search is under way in Osceola County after a man and woman were found slain inside a home and an eight-months pregnant woman was shot and injured, according to authorities.
Deputies have issued an arrest warrant for 55-year-old Kevin Satterfield. He's wanted on two counts of first-degree murder and one count of attempted murder.
The woman found dead was Vicki Satterfield, 53, Kevin Satterfield's wife. The man found dead has not yet been identified, but deputies said the man was living with them at their house.
The third victim was identified as Satterfield's 27-year-old daughter, who is eight-months pregnant. She was airlifted to Orlando Regional Medical Center in critical condition, and neighbor Liz Keiffer told Local 6 News that Satterfield later gave birth to her baby
Another woman, a child and an infant were also in the home but were not injured, deputies said.
Deputies were called to a home on Coral Reef Circle in Kissimmee after receiving reports of a shooting around 12:45 a.m. Investigators believe the double-homicide began as a domestic dispute.
"To me, it's a shock. I never seen any type of violence or commotion coming from that house," said neighbor Annie Marlow.
"I just heard the sirens and I looked out the window, and I heard one lady screaming," another neighbor said.
Kevin Satterfield was employed by Cumberland Farms for an unknown amount of time, but was terminated in June 2011, according to corporate officials. They didn't say why he was terminated or how long he had been there.
A family member told Local 6 Kevin Satterfield called his mother and said he was heading to the Cumberland Farms headquarters near Boston and would "take a couple of them with him," which appeared to be a threat.
Although his employment history is unclear, Local 6 interviewed Kevin Satterfield in 1999 at a St. Cloud Cumberland Farms store after he sold a winning lottery ticket.
Family and friends of Kevin Satterfield said he found another job in telemarking soon after his termination and showed no signs of problems.
"I didn't get any calls from Vicki last night. She would have called me," Kieffer said of her best friend of 15 years that she met she working in Disney's payroll. "So I don't know how this happened or why this happened, but it was all very sudden."
Kevin Satterfield may be driving a red or maroon 2004 Jeep Cherokee with the Florida tag M968JC. The SUV has a wheelchair lift on the back. Deputies said if people see Satterfield driving around to not approach him because they believe he may still be armed.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Osceola County Sheriff's Office or Crimeline at 800-423-TIPS.
