LONGWOOD, Fla. – An 18-year-old man arrived at a hospital after he was shot in Longwood, police said.
It's not known how Shaijuan Christie got to South Seminole Hospital around 3:15 a.m. Wednesday. He had a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the shoulder, police said.
Hospital officials contacted Longwood police, who determined that Christie was shot near Hunt Road and Lormann Circle in Longwood.
Police said Christie had been involved in a verbal altercation with Brandon Sullivan, 18, when he was shot.
Sullivan was arrested and taken to the John E. Polk Correctional Facility located in Seminole County.
