Bees swarm Orange County neighborhood

Residents ask the County for help removing a massive beehive

ORLANDO, Fla. – Bees are taking over a lakeside community in Orange County, creating a lot of buzz in the neighborhood.-

Louis Garcia was playing outside with his little sister when he heard a buzzing noise.

He looked up and found a huge beehive hanging over his head.

His moher, Cythia Garcia, called Orange County Animal Control to ask for help removing the massive beehive, but was not successful.

The neighbors in the Waterbridge area of Orlando, near the intersection of Orange Blossom Trail and Central Florida Parkway, are concerned for their children's safety.

Dexter Bowens said he is allergic to bees and was told he had to pay $200 for the removal even though it is on County property.
