ORLANDO, Fla. – Wrist bands were being given away all morning Friday to see NFL quarterback Tim Tebow at the Premium Outlets for free, but not many people were jumping in line to get one.

Tebow returned to his home state of Florida on Friday for the launch of the "Hot City Cool Down" campaign. Jockey and Tebow hosted two outdoor underwear fashion shows highlighting Jockey's "stay cool" collection and other new Jockey fashions for summer.

"I thought there would be a lot of people," Tebow fan Ashley Banther said.

Banther left her home in Tarpon Springs early Friday morning, but she didn't have to fight for her spot to see Tebow.

"It really does surprise me," she said. "I've met Tebow twice before and there's always huge crowds of people."

The fashion show didn't create the pre-show frenzy many expected.

"I don't think it was well advertised in advance," Will Barnes of Virginia said.

Nonetheless, a Jockey spokesman called the vent a success.

"The popularity of a guy like Tim Tebow here in Central Florida can't be underestimated," Mo Moorman said. "We wanted to make sure that we weren't overpromising and under delivering."

And according to his faithful fans, Tebow delivered.

"We love what he represents, he's clean, plays hard," fan Bob Stansberry said. "I love how he lives his life and the example that he is."
