Police search for Palm Bay missing woman
22-year-old last seen last week, police say
PALM BAY, Fla. – Detectives are still searching for the Palm Bay woman who vanished from her home last week.
Palm Bay police said 22-year-old Marsharie Lemons-Garrett was last seen by her mother at her home on Oaklyn Street.
Lemons-Garrett was last spotted wearing Winnie the Pooh pajamas. She is described as feet, 8 inches, 150 pounds, with short braided black hair.
Police said socks and shoes belonging to the woman were found in a wooded area near her home. According to a release, police are searching in that wooded area in the Turkey Creek Sanctuary near Fallon Boulevard.
Follow-up searches with police tracking dogs will continue, police said.
"We are using every available resource and following every lead," said Sgt. Ken Arnold. "There is concern for her well-being. She has no known friends, no cell phone and no money so we don't have a lot of leads."
