Sketch released in Kissimmee sex assault

$1,000 reward offered for information

KISSIMMEE, Fla. – Osceola County Sheriff's deputies release a sketch of a man who they said sexually battered a woman near a Kissimmee restaurant.

Deputies said the incident happened outside Smokey Bones restaurant at 2911 Vineland Road about 4:30 a.m. Sunday.

A woman leaving her job at the restaurant walked to a nearby bus stop. Deputies said a man approached and held her at gunpoint.

He led her to Rock Church, where deputies said he sexually battered her and then ran off.

The victim is described as about 30 years old, 6' tall, and weighing 180 pounds. He had a shaved head along his front hairline with a ponytail in the back, and heavy hair on his arms and legs. He was wearing denim shorts, a dark-colored shirt, black sneakers, and white socks.

Police said it's unclear if it was a planned attack or if the victim was targeted.
