DELAND, Fla. – Volusia County deputies and officers from DeLand and Orange City had to use stop sticks to catch a group of people who stole items from a Walmart early Tuesday morning.
DeLand police tell Local 6 the suspects sped off in their car when officers attempted to pull them over. Minutes later, Orange City officers tried to stop the suspects but were unsuccessful.

Orange City officers eventually deployed stop sticks on US 17/92 and the car was stopped at an apartment complex near Woodberry Drive. Officers arrested the suspects as they tried to run away.
