AAA offers free rides home on Halloween

Company will take driver, car back home

ORLANDO, Fla. – In an effort to stop drunk driving around Halloween, AAA and Bud Light are offering to tow vehicles home and drop off drivers if they've had to much to drink.

The "Tow To Go" program will last from October 31 through November 3.

AAA notes the program should serve as a last resort and is offered based on availability of AAA technicians and tow truck drivers.

The program is available to both AAA members and non-members in Florida, Georgia and Tennessee. The tow truck will take both the vehicle and the driver home.

AAA says more than 20,000 people have used the "Tow To Go" program since it was started in 1998. It is offered on holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving, as well as major events such as the Super Bowl.

Florida drivers who wish to use the program to get home can call (855) 286-9246.
