Study: Hypnosis may help women during menopause

New study from Baylor University in Texas tackles hot flashes

WACO, Tx. – Hypnosis may help women who experience hot flashes during menopause ,according to a study.

Researchers at Baylor University looked at 187 women and found that hypnotic relaxation therapy reduced hot flashes by as much as 80 percent.

Those women also had less anxiety and depression, according to the study.

Previous studies showed that hypnosis can also help lower hot flashes in breast cancer survivors.
