Polls: Romney, Obama tied ahead of election day

Obama leads by one percentage point in Florida

ORLANDO, Fla. – Two final polls have President Obama and Mitt Romney tied ahead of election day, while two others -- including one in Florida -- show the president with a very small lead.

According to a Public Policy Polling survey of Florida voters, President Obama leads Romney 50 percent to 49 percent. When the survey is broken down, the results show an even closer race, with the president leading Romney among the Florida voters polled by a single vote.

The Wall Street Journal's final poll also found the president leads nationally by one percentage point. The two candidates were tied in the same poll two weeks ago.

However, two other final polls found the two candidates tied heading into the general election. Both Gallup and CNN have the candidates even on the Monday before election day.
