CLERMONT, Fla. – The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a four-wheeler accident that killed one teen and left another teen and one adult injured.

Troopers said the accident involved two ATVs that collided with an SUV. The accident happened just before 6 p.m. when one of the ATVs stalled out in the middle of the road. One of the teen drivers got off to help tow the stalled ATV when the SUV slammed into one of the four-wheelers.

Another teen, 14-year-old Alyssa McClelland, was airlifted to Orlando Regional Medical Center in critical condition.

An ambulance also took the adult driver of the SUV, 57-year-old James Everett Bryant to the hospital, but troopers say his injuries are minor.
