Police say father admits to abusing infant, breaking bones

ST. CLOUD, Fla. – St. Cloud police say a father was arrested after they discovered he had been abusing his six-month-old daughter.

Police were called to Arnold Palmer Hospital on Friday to investigate along with the Department and Children and Family Services allegations of child abuse.

Doctors told police a six-month-old girl was admitted into the hospital with a possible broken femur, a large bruise on her chest, possible fractured ribs, and a head injury.

Police said they arrested the baby's father, 25-year-old Chadd Spicer and charged him with aggravated child abuse and child neglect early Saturday morning.
